About Palo Alto

Our mission: We unite women to learn, grow, and inspire positive change throughout their lives.

Founded at Monmouth College in 1870, Kappa Kappa Gamma is one of the oldest women’s Greek-letter organizations. Six trailblazing women decided to express their belief in women’s potential and created a journey that would impact so many women after them on campuses across North America.

Today, Kappa has more than 135 chapters in the United States and Canada and has initiated more than 342,000 members.

About Palo Alto

The Palo Alto Alumnae Association is a vibrant 102 years old in 2026! We believe our staying power is due to being true to our Kappa principles - looking for new ways to grow as individuals and as a group, sharing heartfelt support, and contributing to our communities; all the while deepening our bonds of sisterhood. If you are new to the area, a recent grad, or a long-term resident seeking to reunite with your Sisters, Palo Alto Alumnae Association invites you to join our group. PAAA encompasses members from the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula; from San Jose to San Francisco. We have over 15 events a year that include Founders' Day, literary and hiking clubs, a holiday party, and special activities for Kappa moms and new grads. Universities in the area are Stanford and Santa Clara. Please join us!
